As a Messaging System Test Analyst, you’ll support a criticial defense messaging system by updating, patching, testing, and verifying a secure message system. In this environment, highly available isn’t just a buzz word – it’s a mission critical need. Using your skills with Linux and Windows, you’ll maintain configuration control and understand the changes that are needed to keep the system functioning and secure. You Have:
- 4+ years of experience with conducting systems testing for information technology systems
- Knowledge of UNIX operating systems, Solaris specifically, including command line use, patching, and security configuration
- Knowledge of service management principles, including change management and configuration management
- Knowledge of the systems development process
- Ability to work independently and with a team as a member or a team leader
- TS/SCI clearance -HS diploma or GED and 12 years of experience with systems testing for information technology systems
- DoD 8570 Certification prior to starting on client site
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with UNIX, Linux, or Solaris
- Experience with Microsoft Windows server 2012 or higher
- Experience with XML, Java, or other scripting languages
- Experience with using testing tools
- Experience with defense messaging systems, including SMART.neXT v. 5.x or higher
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph preferred
- BA or BS degree preferred
